The exhibition “reveries of a solitary muse”, curated by Alexia Timmermans, brings together works by nine women artists, offering multifaceted perspectives on the muse across a wide range of mediums. From its classical origins to contemporary reinterpretations, the muse is reimagined through symbolic, mythological, and cinematic references, often intertwining personal approaches rooted in the artists’ biographies or cultural heritage.
