The Ahr valley becomes an exhibition area: KUNST IM AHRTAL is an initiative hat makes contemporary art accessible by promoting the sustainable development of the region and inviting artists to install sculptures along the Ahr river in unusual settings. In a symbiosis with nature, art objects become immediately recognisable at various locations, creating new places for interaction. Female sculptor Martine Seibert-Raken, who lives in Unkel am Rhein, kicks off the exhibition series with PINK CLOUDS. The expansive form of her cloud-like landscapes enters into a dialogue with the surroundings, whereby the wire objects stand in an exciting contrast to nature. By bending, winding and connecting, the artist creates organic installations that invite you to linger, connect and vitalise.
The art stations are freely accessible until 31.12.2024.
