The exhibition VIELSCHICHTIG brings together ink drawings by Christine Brunella, papercuts and metal works by Andreas Kocks and wooden sculptures by Stephan Wurmer. As different as their artistic approaches and materials used are, there are characteristic similarities in their work: they find their sources of inspiration in nature and work in a layered approach. This can be both additive and subtractive and in turn results in multi-layered levels of meaning. Their artistic work stands for the interplay between man and nature and a less anthropocentric approach to nature.
